P27 to close operations – remains as owner of Bankgirot

Going forward, the Swedish payment infrastructure will be supplied and future proofed by Bankgirot, which presently holds a clearing license. P27 will continue to own Bankgirot, as a holding company, but will not conduct any operations. 

To ensure that critical competencies and experiences in P27 benefit the Swedish payment sector also in the future, the ambition is that all P27 employees in Sweden are offered employment in Bankgirot.

No notices of termination have been given. 

P27 will continue to own Bankgirot, as a holding company with a few employees.
